This DIY 3D printer consists mainly of threaded rods, chipboard, hot glue and 3D printed parts. This project started with a cheap 3D printer from China, but it never really worked. That's why I removed the motors and the extruder from it to reuse them. I got inspiration for the new 3D printer from Instructables: “Cherry 3D-Printer” . But I used the old parts and built a few things differently. From this stage onwards, I kept modifying and improving it. For example, I glued heating elements under the print bed, installed a better cooling system and improved the filament feed. Everything is controlled with a "Ramps Shield" and an "Arudino Mega", on which the repeater firmware was loaded.
